Emory Andrew Tate III, better known as Andrew Tate or his alias Cobratate, is a British-American social media star and former professional kickboxer. He is the son of the famous chess player Emory Andrew Tate II.
Andrew Tate has two siblings: Tristan Tate and Janine Tate Webb. He is reportedly estranged from Janine, but he is extremely close with Tristan.
Cobratate is no stranger to the limelight. In 2016, he appeared on Big Brother UK for a short period, but then he was booted from the show after a video surfaced that showed him beating a woman with a belt. Tate claimed the act was consensual, but it caused controversy nevertheless.
Andrew Tate continued to stir up controversy after he left the show. He was banned from Twitter after making misogynistic remarks about sexual assault.
Today, Tate is best known for his viral TikTok presence. His popularity can be attributed to his paid online community and course called Hustlers University.
